Final Wellness Screening for 2021 – October 25th!



Reminder! We’re pleased to announce that the second on site wellness screening for 2021 is fast approaching. The confidential health screening will be administered by Healthy Measures.

The final wellness screening for 2021 will take place on Monday, October 25, 2021, from 8:00AM-8:00PM at The Union Hall 1319 Locust Street on the 2nd Floor in the Auditorium.

As a bonus, for any employee who comes to the Union Hall and receives their wellness screening on the date of the event, will be entered into a drawing to receive one of the following prizes:

  • 1st Prize:  Apple watch
  • 2nd Prize: Apple Watch
  • 3rd Prize: $50.00 gift card
  • 4th Prize: $50.00 gift card
  • 5th Prize: $50.00 gift card

The employee health screening is a great assessment tool to determine your current health status. And it’s quick and easy – it takes less than 15 minutes to complete. The Cholesterol and Diabetes screening is conducted via a fingerstick. Results will be given to you on-site by a health professional who will discuss your results with you. The Health Screenings are free of charge for employees.

The Health Screening includes the following tests:

  • Total Cholesterol
  • HDL
  • Total Cholesterol / HDL Ratio
  • Glucose (Diabetes)
  • Blood Pressure
  • Measured Height & Weight
  • BMI
  • Counseling on Results

*** Please note that fasting is not required prior to the health screening. You should continue to take any medications directed by your physician, and make sure you are well hydrated.

Benefit and Pension Fund To Work Remotely For The Foreseeable Future

As the COVID-19 virus evolves, our response also needs to evolve.

For the safety and well-being of our employees and members, the Benefit and Pension Fund’s have decided to shut down our offices as of 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 25th.

We will continue to work remotely for the foreseeable future.  Please rest assured we are equipped to continue to provide our members with the highest level of service remotely. All mail, faxes and emails will be monitored continually, to assure no lapse in services

District 1199C Benefits & Pension Fund Moves To Phase Two, Limited Access

In accordance with the guidelines regarding the covid-19 outbreak, the benefit and pension funds will be moving to phase two of our covid-19 plan with limited access and staff at our 1319 locust Street location. If you must see a representative we suggest you call 215 552 5830 to make an appointment otherwise leaving a message on the funds phone will prompt a service rep to return your call as soon as possible.
